Data Collection and Usage
All data of those who sign up for the cleanup projects is only used for Curacao Clean Up-events, like the World Clean Up Day. Private information such as contact details is not shared with external, third or commercial parties -unless approved or requested by the concerned party. Curacao Clean Up will save contact information for their future events
Safety Rules
Curacao Clean Up is doing its utmost to provide a safe environment for all their events and activities.
Participation in clean up events like World Clean Up Day is on the participants own responsibility. Be aware of possible risks for yourself, others and the environment and of passing traffic. Do NOT touch dead animals or toxic waste (like needles or other medical waste) but report those to your area coordinator.
Cancellation Policy
Curacao Clean Up events like World Clean Up Day are volunteer projects. Voluntary does not mean without obligation. When signing up, you are committed to participation. If you, or members of your group, are not able to participate anymore, first please look for replacement or another suitable solution, secondly contact the volunteer coordinator or your area coordinator.
Liability Disclaimer
Curaçao Clean Up Foundation is not liable for any injuries or damages in any shape or form, that occur during (clean up) events and all other (external) activities directly or indirectly related to our events.
Modification of Terms
The Curacao Clean Up Foundation reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Once modified, the terms and conditions will be updated on this page.
Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed under the legal jurisdiction of Curaçao law.
Payment or Donations
Participation in all our Clean up events is free of charge.
