Heroes of Curaçao… World Cleanup Day 2026 is Coming!
Mark your calendars, grab your gloves or diving goggles, and get ready for the biggest volunteer action in the world!
On Land
On September 18 & 19 we’ll roll up our sleeves for an island-wide Cleanup, joining forces across neighborhoods to collect trash and keep Curaçao beautiful.
Underwater
At the same time, divers will plunge into our ocean to clean reefs and coastline, protecting marine life and keeping our waters healthy.
Remember: it’s not just about picking up trash, it’s about fun, friends, and building a cleaner future together.

Nieuw educatief lespakket:
“Di Shushi pa Dushi”
Curaçao Clean Up heeft het allereerste educatieve lespakket over afval en duurzaamheid voor jongeren op Curaçao ontwikkeld.
- Met “Di Shushi pa Dushi” leren leerlingen van 13 t/m 16 jaar op een praktische en herkenbare manier wat afval is, hoe we het kunnen verminderen en wat zij zelf kunnen doen voor een schoner eiland.
- Het pakket bevat korte films in het Papiaments (met Engelse ondertiteling) en werkbladen in het Nederlands en Papiaments.
- Alles is lokaal gemaakt, met beelden uit ons eigen Curaçao, zodat jongeren zich echt aangesproken voelen.
